Let the festivities begin
Festive tunes, winter walks, rosy cheeks and cosy pubs. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….
Wow! We can’t quite believe that we’re into December already. November sure went by fast. This weekend was the time (traditionally) for getting your tree and decorations sorted. Who has already been at the mince pies and mulled wine while putting them up? I bet a few of you couldn’t wait till then. We’ve certainly started feeling a little bit festive here at Dog3Dphoto.
Winter walkies
So it’s certainly turned a lot colder and the nights are dark, but following on from Autumn, we love this time of year. After all, what’s better than braving the elements and getting your paws muddy, then finishing in your well earned spot by the fire at a cosy pub?!
We think it’s well worth it but unfortunately, walking in all weathers isn’t for everyone. What’s that famous phrase… “A dog is for life, not just for Christmas”. If you’re looking at getting a pup this time of year, then please read up and think about the long term. So many don’t realise the commitment and give up when things get real. With Dog3Dphoto.com, we have provided the option to donate 10% of the cost of any order towards your chosen pet charity. If you have one in mind, that is not listed in our options, just let us know and we can add it in.
For those that love being out at this time of year, we’d love to see all your doggo pictures and hear your recommendations for walks and places that welcome floofs and muddy boots. Our graphic designer, Nick is based in Leeds and recommends finding a hill to climb in the Yorkshire Dales. Just be wary of the changing weather at this time of year. Know how long the route will take, go with the right gear and be prepared to turn back.
These pictures from last winter demonstrate just that. A sunny start with a sprinkle of snow on the fell turned into a full blizzard and 2-3 foot drifts!
Deadline for Christmas orders
There is still a good 2 weeks left to get your Christmas orders in. Our special offers will be running right until the end (stock permitting).
We can continue to take orders into the week before Christmas but please bear in mind that after Sunday 16th December, we may not be able to guarantee delivery in time.
